FATHER & SON'S JOCK SWEAT
I was home from work at the normal time, around 5:30. My 18 year old son and I were scheduled to hit the gym for some tension release. At least that is what I called it. He wants to gain some mass on his shoulders and arms. I just wanted to maintain my definition and work off some of the beer I'd consumed during last Friday night's poker game. As I walked down the hall to my room to change, I passed the closed door of my other son. He's 17 and more of a bookworm than his older brother. Not that he's not involved in sports. Just not interested in lettering in every sport the school offers. I'm damned proud of my boys and their accomplishments. Tony is my oldest and about to graduate high school. He's already got an athletic scholarship to a major state university. Jake is his little brother and he's got his plans too. He says he's going to win a big academic scholarship and go out of state.
